Mumbai, Oct 7 (NationPress) The Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT) has partnered with Netflix and FICCI to bolster support for students in India’s AVGC-XR sector (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality).

During the 25th edition of FICCI Frames, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed among the three entities, with the presence of Sanjay Jaju, Secretary of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.

Netflix will assist IICT in designing a comprehensive curriculum and will facilitate industry experts to impart real-world knowledge and best practices to IICT students.

The partnership will feature workshops, masterclasses, and guest lectures—conducted either directly or via partners—aimed at mentoring students, enriching the academic landscape of the institute, and equipping students with essential skills to excel.

As part of this MoU, Netflix will also provide scholarships to select students identified in collaboration with IICT.
