Mumbai, Oct 7 (NationPress) The Indian Institute of Creative Technology (IICT) has formed a partnership with Netflix and FICCI to bolster support for students engaged in India’s AVGC-XR sector (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality).
During the 25th edition of FICCI Frames, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed among the three parties in the presence of Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.
Netflix will assist IICT in creating a comprehensive curriculum, alongside enabling industry experts to impart real-world experience and best practices to the students of IICT.
They will host workshops, masterclasses, and guest lectures—either in person or via partners—aimed at mentoring students, enhancing the academic atmosphere at the institute, and equipping students with essential skills for success.
As part of this MoU, Netflix will also provide scholarships to a select number of students identified in collaboration with IICT.
