Chennai, Feb 6 (NationPress) The producers of director Samjad's highly anticipated vampire thriller, 'Half - The Chronicles of Two Half-Blooded Vampires', unveiled a fresh poster on Friday, much to the excitement of its fans.

The latest poster presents a captivating view into the film's dark and intense universe.

'Half' is being produced by Anne Sajeev and Sajeev PK under the banner of Fragrant Nature Film Creations, known for their previous works such as 'Pranayam', 'Pariwar', and 'Golam'. The film is directed by Samjad, who made a remarkable debut with 'Golam'.

Drawing inspiration from vampire mythology, 'Half' delves into themes of identity, duality, survival, and vengeance, encapsulated in its tagline: “The Chronicles of Two Half-Blooded Vampires”.

The newly unveiled poster features bold colors and striking visuals, effectively mirroring the film's themes of transformation and inner turmoil while establishing its dark, atmospheric tone.

Starring Amala Paul, Ranjith Sajeev, and Aiswarya Raj, the poster also highlights the return of famed South Indian actor Abbas, marking his much-anticipated comeback to the cinema after a lengthy break.

Abbas, recognized for his contributions to South Indian cinema, is also known to Malayalam audiences through films like 'Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu', 'Kadha', and 'Greetings'. His return adds an emotional and dramatic depth to the cast, igniting curiosity regarding his character in the film.

Another notable aspect of the project is its international partnership, featuring action choreography by Very Tri Yulisman, whose work includes major Hollywood productions, providing the film with a distinctive global flair.

The film also boasts a crew of acclaimed Indian technicians, including National Award-winning editor Mahesh Bhuvanend, celebrated for 'Aattam', 'Vela', and 'Madhuram', and production designer Mohandas, known for his work in '2018', 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum', and 'Lucifer'.

Cinematography is in the capable hands of Pappinu, recognized for films like 'Matinee' and 'Konthayum Poonoolum'. Music composition is by Midhun Mukundan, whose scores for 'Rorschach' and 'Abraham Ozler' have received widespread acclaim. The screenplay has been co-written by director Samjad and Praveen Viswanath.

Ranjith Sajeev teams up again with Samjad as one of the half-blooded leads, while Aiswarya Raj takes on the other pivotal role. Amala Paul plays a crucial part, enhancing the narrative's depth and intrigue. Abbas’s return further solidifies the ensemble, adding weight and anticipation to the cast.

Designed as a large-scale pan-Indian cinematic event, 'Half' aims for extensive theatrical release across multiple languages and regions. Filmed in diverse locations, the film combines grandeur and scale to create an immersive experience rooted in vampire mythology.

It will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.

The team also includes National Award-winning sound designer Vishnu Govind, known for Malik, Unda, and Ishq, overseeing the film's sound design.
