Mumbai, Dec 13 (NationPress) Actress Nimrat Kaur has shared insights on the design of her villainous character Mira, highlighting how costume director Neha R. Bajaj played a crucial role in crafting the character's intimidating and unique appearance.
Nimrat, who looked absolutely stunning in the fabrics curated by Neha, remarked, "Designing Mira's look was paramount to narrating her story, demanding a striking visual that encapsulated Raj & DK's vision of her as a femme fatale."
"Every element was chosen with great care, from cuts to silhouettes, under Neha's expert guidance, along with personal jewelry and the trench coat, ensuring that nothing was overlooked and the character truly stands out. This styling also followed her journey, ultimately making it one of my most treasured roles on screen due to its visual impact," she elaborated.
Neha R. Bajaj also reflected on the challenges of designing for such iconic villains, while hinting at her upcoming projects.
She stated, "Creating looks for the brilliant newcomers, Nimrat Kaur and Jaideep Ahlawat, for The Family Man 3 was a fulfilling challenge, focusing on crafting engaging, intelligent, and memorable villains."
"For Nimrat, we aimed for a sophisticated, high-end, boss-lady vibe, collaborating closely on every outfit and detail."
Neha mentioned that for Jaideep Ahlawat, the emphasis was on a casual, rustic style, featuring long hair, tattoos, and lived-in clothing to mirror his character's transient lifestyle.
"While those designs required intense attention, I served as the costume designer for the entire TFM3 series, and it has been an exhilarating experience; I am also currently focused on creating costumes for the film Toxic."
Regarding The Family Man, the series, created by Raj & DK, features Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man who secretly operates as an intelligence officer for the fictitious Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC) of the National Investigation Agency.
It also includes Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Neeraj Madhav, Sharib Hashmi, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja, and Shreya Dhanwanthary. Samantha Ruth Prabhu joined the cast in the second season as the primary antagonist, marking her debut in the digital space under the direction of Suparn S. Verma.
