At the pre-release event for director Unni Sivalingam's bilingual sports action drama 'Balti', which marked his inaugural press conference, Sai was questioned by reporters about claims of competition in the current music landscape between Anirudh and himself.
In response, Sai Abhyankkar stated, "That is not true. Anirudh has accomplished a lot. I am just beginning. With your support and blessings, I am eager to collaborate more. There is absolutely no competition."
Interestingly, 'Balti' will be the first Malayalam film for which Sai Abhyankkar has composed music. Lead actor Shane Nigam expressed his enthusiasm for the film's songs and pride in having Sai Abhyankkar as the music composer.
