Jodhpur, Sep 20 (NationPress) In celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's birthday, various events are taking place nationwide. Among these, a short film capturing the essence of PM Modi’s life was showcased at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jodhpur on Saturday, where students gathered to witness the remarkable journey of their Prime Minister.
The principal of the school remarked that the film seeks to enlighten students on the importance of placing national and societal aspirations above individual goals, thereby helping them comprehend their life's purpose.
“Our objective is to cultivate a service-oriented mindset among students, motivating them to contribute to the nation's advancement and assist India in becoming a global frontrunner,” the principal shared with IANS.
Ashok Kumar, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya, expressed, “It’s an excellent initiative to screen a film about PM Modi for our students.”
Rajni, one of the students, remarked, “The biography was impressive. I learned a great deal from it.”
Another student, Priyanshi Bhati, stated, “We viewed a 30-minute short film today. It was truly motivating.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is recognized as one of the most impactful leaders worldwide. Born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat, he comes from modest origins. His father, Damodardas Mulchand Modi, operated a tea stall near Vadnagar Railway Station, while his mother, Heeraben, was a homemaker. He has four brothers—Soma, Amrit, Prahlad, and Pankaj—and one sister, Vasantiben.
At the age of 17, PM Modi departed from home to traverse India. He subsequently joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a socio-cultural organization. His daily routine at RSS commenced at 5:00 a.m. and extended until late at night. Inspired by Swami Vivekananda, Modi cultivated a mindset centered on spirituality and service.
He married Jashodaben in 1968. The couple remains childless and lives apart.
