In a heartfelt announcement, the actor's team conveyed the family's sorrow to the media regarding this profound loss. Her cremation was held on Saturday in Belsand, attended by close family, friends, and relatives.
They stated, “It is with deep sadness that we announce the demise of Shri Pankaj Tripathi’s cherished mother, Hemwanti Devi, who peacefully departed this world at her family’s residence in Belsand, Gopalganj, Bihar, on Friday.”
“She was 89 years old and had been in declining health for a while. She passed away quietly in her sleep, surrounded by her loved ones. Pankaj Tripathi was with her during her final moments.
