Mumbai, Feb 24 (NationPress) The highly anticipated slice-of-life comedy drama 'Made in Korea', directed by Ra Karthik and starring Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead role, is set to premiere directly on OTT platforms on March 12 this year, as announced by the production team on Tuesday.

The film will be available for streaming on Netflix starting March 12.

The narrative centers on a young woman named Shenbagam (portrayed by Priyanka Arul Mohan) from a quaint town in Tamil Nadu. Shenbagam is determined to fulfill her lifelong dream of visiting South Korea.

'Made in Korea' charts Shenbagam's journey, whose childhood admiration for Korean culture drives her to immerse herself in it. Upon unexpectedly arriving in Seoul, she faces challenges that test her resilience, leading to a profound journey of self-discovery and meaningful connections.

Produced by Rise East Entertainment, the film is both written and directed by Ra Karthik.

Leading the film is Priyanka Mohan, who authentically portrays Shenba’s emotional journey with depth and sincerity. The cast also includes South Korean actors Park Hye-jin and No Ho-jin in crucial roles, adding genuine authenticity to this cross-cultural narrative.
