Mumbai, June 25 (NationPress) Global star Priyanka Chopra is set to portray MI6 agent Noel Bisset in the highly anticipated Hollywood drama, "Heads of State," scheduled for release on July 2 this year.
Priyanka opened up about her experience as the sole female presence in a predominantly male cast featuring John Cena and Idris Elba.
Reflecting on her collaboration with Cena and Elba, she expressed, “It was incredible. I didn’t feel excluded at all. The atmosphere wasn’t reminiscent of high school. Their chemistry began during their time on ‘Suicide Squad,’ which sparked the concept for this film. Producer Peter Safran emphasized the need to capture that dynamic.”
“I’m genuinely thrilled to be part of this journey alongside them, navigating such a strong masculine vibe. I truly enjoyed myself,” she added.
Cena and Elba previously appeared together in the 2021 film "The Suicide Squad", portraying Peacemaker and Bloodsport respectively.
The narrative centers on the U.S. President (played by Cena) and the UK Prime Minister (played by Elba), whose public rivalry threatens their nations’ “special relationship.” When they find themselves targeted by a formidable foreign adversary, they must rely solely on each other. With the assistance of the brilliant MI6 agent Noel Bisset (played by Priyanka), they embark on a mission to thwart a global conspiracy that endangers the free world.
Directed by Ilya Naishuller, "Heads of State" also features Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, and Sarah Niles in key roles.
This action-comedy is set to debut on July 2 exclusively on Prime Video, available in several languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
