Discussing the film's relevance in today's context, Madhavan stated, “In an era when such relationships were not widely accepted and often stigmatized, this film presents a groundbreaking narrative. Nowadays, the distinctions in relationships are less significant, but for those of us from older generations, accepting these changes can be challenging.”

Reflecting on his own journey as a father, he expressed the struggle to adapt to modern parenting styles, saying, “The values I grew up with, which were completely normal back then and for which we cherish our parents, can't be applied the same way with my son. Therefore, I must redefine the guidelines for myself as a father to ensure I have an equivalent influence, shaping him into a similar person.”
