Mumbai, Sep 16 (NationPress) Actor Raghav Juyal, who is preparing for the launch of his upcoming streaming series 'The Ba*ds of Bollywood', believes that essential values are instilled by one’s family.
In a recent conversation with IANS prior to the debut of 'The Ba*ds of Bollywood' in the BKC area of Mumbai, he humorously noted the ongoing conflict between the principles imparted by family and those learned from friends.
The actor praised the show’s director, Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, stating that the Khan household has molded Aryan into a remarkable individual.
Juyal remarked to IANS, “I believe the cultural values come from the family. Their home environment is very nurturing, and it feels like home. Aryan, despite being the son of the biggest superstar globally, remains grounded. When we visit, his cousins from various locations like Delhi and Dehradun engage in a very authentic manner, making me feel at ease.”
He continued, “Their home has a very welcoming atmosphere. Gauri ma'am often says, ‘Let’s eat first, then we’ll work.’ Another tradition is touching the feet of elders, which I observed frequently at the Khan residence. When my mother first met Aryan, his warm and kind approach was evident. Only family can impart such wonderful values, as friends tend to lead you astray (laughs).”
Juyal also noted that Aryan has discovered his directorial voice with his inaugural show, a feat that is uncommon not only in India but globally.
He explained, “As a creative individual and storyteller, I've noted that many directors around the world take years to establish their unique voice. Aryan, however, knew right from his first show, first script, and first text that he wanted to pursue this direction, regardless of outside opinions.”
“He possesses a strong will and incredible talent; he appears calm on the surface, much like water, yet there are intense currents beneath. This complexity defines him as a director,” he added.
