Rahul Dev: Kicking Off 2025 with the Exciting Launch of ‘Griha Laxmi’

Mumbai, Jan 7 (NationPress) Actor Rahul Dev considers it exciting to kick off 2025 with the debut of his intense thriller web series ‘Griha Laxmi’.

Rahul shared, “I had a fantastic journey working on this project and it’s truly exciting to begin 2025 with this web series release.”

“The premiere is set for January 16th on EPIC ON. We have an amazing cast and a wonderful team, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time working on this project. I truly hope the audience appreciates my performance in this role and continues to support me.”

Hailing from New Delhi, Rahul Dev and his actor sibling Mukul Dev are the sons of Hari Dev, who served as an Assistant Commissioner of Police. At 56 years of age, Rahul made his film debut in 2000 in “Champion”, featuring Sunny Deol and Manisha Koirala, where he portrayed an antagonist.

He also played the villain in the Punjabi film Dharti in 2011. Subsequently, he ventured into Malayalam cinema, taking on the role of assassin Sheik Imran in Amal Neerad's Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded. After four years, he returned to the screen with Sringaravelan.

Rahul made his television debut in 2013 with Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, where he played the character of the demon Arunasur. He participated in Bigg Boss 10 and appeared in the Bhojpuri film Dulhan Chahi Pakistan Se 2 in 2018.

Rahul was previously married to Rina, who passed away from cancer in 2009. Their marriage lasted for nearly 11 years, during which they had a son named Sidhart. He is currently in a relationship with model and actress Mugdha Godse, known for her roles in Hindi films such as “Fashion” starring Priyanka Chopra, “All The Best: Fun Begins”, “Jail”, “Help”, and “Heroine” featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Mugdha served as a judge on the Marathi reality show Marathi Paul Padte Pudhe and has also acted in the Tamil movie Thani Oruvan.
