Chennai, Oct 13 (NationPress) Actress Rajisha Vijayan, known for her significant role as Raji in director Mari Selvaraj's forthcoming social sports drama 'Bison', featuring Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameswaran in lead roles, recently revealed a terrifying experience while filming. She nearly drowned during a scene, and it was the quick thinking of director Mari Selvaraj that saved her life.

At a grand pre-release event for the film, set to release on October 17, Rajisha became emotional on stage, sharing, "When Mari sir first approached me for this project, he seemed unsure if I would accept the role since it was that of a sister. I reassured him that I was eager to work with him, regardless of the role. I've been part of 30 films, but my trust in him is exceptional. I have blind faith in Mari sir."

She recounted a harrowing moment during filming.

"There was a scene where I had to jump into the water. Mari sir asked if I could swim, and I said yes, having learned for my earlier film 'Karnan', although I had forgotten how to swim over four years. As I jumped in, I felt myself sinking. For five seconds, I believed I was at the end of my life, with various thoughts racing through my mind. I felt the presence of people trying to rescue me. When I regained composure and looked around, I spotted a man in the water wearing sunglasses. It was director Mari Selvaraj, who jumped in fully clothed, including his shoes and socks, to save me," expressed the actress with deep gratitude.

Rajisha emphasized that Bison is more than just a sports film, indicating that this project from Mari Selvaraj will offer something unique compared to his previous four films.

For those who do not know, Bison, short for 'Bison Kaalamaadan', also stars Lal, Pasupathy, Rajisha Vijayan, Hari Krishnan, Azhagam Perumal, Aruvi Madhanand, and Kalaiyarasan in key roles.
