Hyderabad, Feb 4 (NationPress) The team behind director Buchi Babu Sana's highly anticipated rural action film 'Peddi', starring Ram Charan as the lead character, announced on Wednesday that this thrilling action-packed entertainer will now be released globally on April 30 this year.

Initially, it was set to premiere on March 27 this year.

Taking to social media to announce the new release date, Ram Charan stated, "#PEDDI will see you on 30th APRIL, 2026."

Not long ago, the actor expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming project, revealing that he was fired up and ready to tackle the next challenge.

On January 17, he shared images from the gym on his Instagram, stating, "Fired up. Working in silence!!! Ready for the next challenge @peddimovie."

The rural action film has generated significant excitement among fans and is considered one of the most anticipated movies of the year.

It is worth noting that the 'Peddi' team completed its Delhi schedule in the last week of December last year.

Acclaimed cinematographer Rathnavelu shared images from the set on his Instagram, announcing the successful wrap of the Delhi schedule with flair!

He noted, "Delhi schedule wrapped in style! Immersive, poetic visuals. Ram Charan bro at his incredible best!"

Sources close to the production revealed that several crucial sequences were filmed in Delhi, and the entire talkie portion is expected to be completed soon.

Reports indicate that all production phases are progressing smoothly, with post-production work advancing at a commendable pace.

Recently, the makers enlisted Sham Kaushal specifically for an action sequence that is anticipated to be a highlight of the film.

This pivotal and intense fight scene, showcasing Ram Charan alongside other fighters, was shot on a grand set designed by production designer Avinash Kolla at the Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad.

The film has already attracted considerable attention with its first-look posters and teasers. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, 'Peddi' is being developed on a grand scale with a substantial budget. The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead.

Director Buchi Babu Sana, known for his perfectionism, is meticulously overseeing every action scene. Each fight sequence is designed with innovative concepts and stunning execution, according to insiders.

In addition to Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, 'Peddi' also includes notable performances from Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma.

The film boasts a talented technical crew, with Academy Award winner AR Rahman composing the music, renowned cinematographer R Rathnavelu on camera duties, and National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli handling editing.
