Rana Daggubati Unveils Virat Karrna’s First Look as Rudhra in Nagabandham

Chennai, Jan 13 (NationPress) On Monday, actor Rana Daggubati unveiled the much-anticipated first glimpse of young star Virat Karrna as Rudhra in the upcoming pan-Indian film ‘Nagabandham’, directed by Abhishek Nama.

The initial poster showcases Virat Karrna in a bold and rugged look, featuring curly hair, a beard, and a sculpted physique.

The shirtless pose highlights his six-pack abs, and the action-packed visual captures Karrna in a fearless confrontation with a fierce crocodile in the ocean. With his bare hands and a rope, he holds the creature's mouth open, reflecting Rudhra’s daring spirit and unmatched strength.

The makers describe Nagabandham as an epic adventure, with its tagline ‘The Secret Treasure’ hinting at an exhilarating journey that amplifies the anticipation.

Director Abhishek Nama lends his unique perspective and skills to both the narrative and screenplay. The film is produced by Kishore Annapureddy under NIK Studios, in partnership with Abhishek Pictures.

Nagabandham promises to be a pan-Indian epic that merges spiritual mysticism with thrilling adventure, featuring a stellar cast including Nabha Natesh and Iswarya Menon as the female leads, along with Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma, and B.S. Avinash in pivotal roles.

The film delves into the concealed secrets of India’s ancient Vishnu temples, particularly spotlighting the sacred practice of Nagabandham.

Drawing inspiration from recent treasure finds at temples like Padmanabhaswamy and Puri Jagannath, the plot explores the enchanting mythology linked to these divine sites and the mysterious rituals meant to protect them. The film brings these historic enigmas to life in a contemporary narrative.

The production is progressing smoothly under the guidance of Abhishek Nama and a skilled crew. Cinematography is handled by Soundar Rajan S, while Abhe provides the musical score. The film’s dialogues are penned by Kalyan Chakravarthy, and Ashok Kumar manages the art direction.

Nagabandham is currently in production, with plans for a release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages in 2025.
