Chennai, Nov 18 (NationPress) Renowned actor Rana Daggubatti, known for his significant role in director Selvamani Selvaraj's celebrated period drama, 'Kaantha', has responded to actress Bhagyashree Borse's recent social media tribute where she referred to him as a true friend and a “gem of a person.”
When IANS brought Bhagyashree's post to Rana's attention, the actor expressed exclusively to IANS, “It was incredibly generous of her to say that. Bhagyashree showed remarkable dedication by moving from Bombay and learning Tamil for six months to be part of this film, which is quite rare nowadays.”
He elaborated, “Her commitment is exceptional and clearly evident in the film. Initially, we were all anxious, considering the talent we had, including Dulquer and Samuthirakani. While it sounded good in writing to have a new actress to match them, the real challenge lay in performance. However, once she began her screen tests, it was clear we had our Kumari.
