Mumbai, June 5 (NationPress) In honor of World Environment Day this Thursday, actor and filmmaker Randeep Hooda along with his wife Lin Laishram planted more than 500 trees in the vicinity of Kanha National Park located in Madhya Pradesh.
Randeep emphasized that World Environment Day is more than just a date on the calendar. He stated, “It serves as a crucial reminder that we are quickly running out of time to mend the damage we have inflicted upon nature. Forests act as the lungs of our planet, and without them, the rich biodiversity we often take for granted will face extinction.”
“My bond with wildlife is deeply spiritual, and each visit to Kanha only reinforces the urgency of our duty towards nature,” he added.
