Mumbai, March 8 (NationPress) Actor Ravi Kishan, currently present in Jaipur for the 25th iteration of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA), praised PM Narendra Modi for his initiatives that have positioned India on the international stage.
During a media briefing from the IIFA platform, Kishan emphasized that PM Modi aims to keep India aligned with the evolving global landscape. He clarified a common misconception, stating that while many perceive him as a native of Bihar, he was actually raised in the affluent Bandra district of Mumbai, which is a hub of economic activity.
The actor remarked, "I am a Bandra boy, and not many are aware of that. People often think I am a staunch Bihari, but my roots are in Bandra."
He expressed his heartfelt thanks to PM Modi, stating, "Both Prime Minister Modi and Rajasthan's Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma have made it feasible to host a global event like IIFA in Jaipur. An awards ceremony that has previously occurred around the globe is now hosted in India for its landmark 25th edition. Today, India stands self-sufficient, capable of executing an event of such grand scale."
