Synopsis
Key Takeaways
New Delhi, April 4 (NationPress) Ravi Kishan has shared insights into his cheerful and playful relationship with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, expressing how much he values the moments when the CM playfully teases him. He mentioned that if his presence can elicit a smile from the Chief Minister, it stands as his most significant reward.
Ravi was in the National Capital to promote the second season of his upcoming Netflix series, “Maamla Legal Hai.” When asked what advice he would give if he were to act as a legal advisor to Yogi Adityanath, he replied to IANS: “He’s our leader and Chief Minister, a saint who guides us, and that shows his affection towards me. I want him to tease me (main chahata hun woh chede).”
“I hope that, with his same demeanor, he can manage the 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh, a region known for its challenges. It is one of the most difficult states, often associated with crime. The chief leader of this state is Yogi Maharaj ji. If I can make him smile, I am ready to embrace all that joy and happiness.”
Ravi asserted that he believes he is sent by Lord Shiva to spread joy, stating that every smile he fosters is a result of divine grace, remaining unaffected by either praise or criticism.
“Lord Shiva has sent me to this world to bring happiness to everyone. If someone smiles at me, it is due to his blessings that I can bring laughter. I remain indifferent to the humiliation or praise I experience,” he said.
Identifying himself as someone who bears pain like Lord Shiva, the actor-politician reflected on his journey from a modest priest's family, filled with silent suffering and endurance.
Ravi explained: “I am akin to Lord Shiva. I carry my own burdens, having endured pain for many years. As the son of a priest who has emerged from a humble clay house, I must have faced significant hardships. People often say they rise in life. I have crawled my way up, and in that journey, I have encountered wounds, blood, dirt, salt, and ridicule. This is the body I carry.”
He concluded: “People perceive me as a politician, a superstar, an award-winning actor. But there is a long story behind who I am. I am Ravi Kishan, and the person you see today was once a nobody. Truly, I was nothing.”
