Ravie Dubey Shares Adorable Morning Tradition with Sargun Mehta
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, March 13 (NationPress) The well-loved duo from the entertainment realm, Ravie Dubey and Sargun Mehta, have a charming morning tradition.
The 'Jamai Raja' star shared on social media that when Sargun is dozing as he prepares to leave for work, he gently wakes her and asks her to smile for him.
As Sargun complies, still in a sleepy haze, he quotes a nostalgic line from an advertisement, saying, "Aapka chehra mere liye lucky hain (Your face brings me luck)."
Revealing this sweet ritual to his Instagram followers, Ravie wrote, "I’d like to share a little tradition. Sometimes, when I leave for work at dawn and Sargun’s asleep, it might seem mean, but I wake her up and ask her to give me a little smile. Even though she is half-asleep, Sargun responds with a warm smile. I then repeat this old line I heard in a Santoor ad years ago: 'Your face is lucky for me.' I genuinely believe it. Seeing Sargun smile feels like all gods are on my side. I truly do (sic)."
The 'Ramayana' actor also included two adorable photos with Sargun in the post. In the first image, he has his arms wrapped around her, while in the second, he affectionately kisses her cheek.
For those unfamiliar, Sargun and Ravie first crossed paths in 2009 on the set of the popular television series “12/24 Karol Bagh,” where they portrayed a married couple. Their friendship blossomed into love during the show's production.
After years of dating, Ravie proposed to Sargun in an unforgettable moment during a live national television broadcast.
The couple celebrated their love with a grand Punjabi wedding on December 7, 2013.
