Hyderabad, Nov 26 (NationPress) The team behind director Abhilash Kankara's highly anticipated sports action film, 'Biker', starring Sharwanand in the lead role, has officially announced a delay in the film's release.

Initially planned for a December 6 premiere this year, the production team has now shared a statement indicating the postponement, emphasizing their desire to deliver audiences not merely a film, but an "unprecedented experience".

Through a post on their X timeline, UV Creations, the film's production company, stated, "#Biker is now postponed! A new release date will follow soon. We are crafting a bigger and better experience with utmost care and passion. #Biker will be showcased in 3D, 4DX, and several other formats."

In their announcement, the production house described the film as "An experience beyond the screens!", highlighting the hard work and dedication of the cast and crew who have been laboring tirelessly through numerous nights.

The statement added, "This film is much more than the brief glimpses we shared; it's a leap beyond what Telugu cinema has experienced thus far! To create such an experience at this scale..."

They continued, "We aim to deliver a product that resonates in your hearts, elevates your adrenaline levels, and leaves you breathless! Although Biker is postponed, it is to ensure you receive an experience like none before. Get ready for BIKER in theatres, featuring 3D, 4DX, and more formats. Buckle up; you are in for an unforgettable ride!"

For those unfamiliar, Sharwanand portrays a motorcycle racer in this forthcoming film, which was previously known as #Sharwa36.

Reports from the film's unit suggest that Sharwanand will exhibit his prowess as a talented motorcycle racer, with filming now in its concluding phases.

A source mentioned in September that filming was happening in Hyderabad, with key racing scenes involving Sharwanand and his team already captured. "These scenes are poised to be the film's highlight," the source remarked. "He (Sharwanand) is set to dazzle audiences with stunts that will deliver an adrenaline rush beyond imagination."

Malavika Nair stars as the female lead alongside renowned actors Brahmaji and Atul Kulkarni, who are playing significant roles.

Produced by Vamsi and Pramod, this dynamic film is set against the backdrop of motocross racing, weaving a thrilling narrative over three generations amidst the vibrant motocross scene of the 90s and early 2000s.

Cinematography is handled by acclaimed cameraman J Yuvraj, while the musical score is composed by renowned Tamil music director Ghibran. The film is edited by Anil Kumar P, with N Sandeep as the executive producer, Rajeevan as the production designer, and A Panneerselvam as the art director.
