Rita Ora Shares the Most Impactful Advice She's Ever Received
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Los Angeles, March 10 (NationPress) British actress Rita Ora has revealed the most valuable advice she has ever received. She stated that being advised to freeze her eggs in her twenties was the "best advice" she could have gotten.
The 35-year-old actress, who first took this step at the age of 24 and did so again three years later, reminisced about how "everyone went mad" at that time, but noted that "now everyone's doing it," according to reports from ‘Female First UK’.
In her conversation with Women's Health magazine, she shared, "(Back then) a doctor suggested that it was a great moment to preserve the best quality (eggs). It turned out to be the best advice, especially now that I’m in my mid-thirties and many of my friends are really trying to figure it out.”
“When the time comes, it will just be more of an expansion. Davina (McCall) often tells me, ‘Hurry up, you can do it’,” she added.
As reported by ‘Female First UK’, Rita is now a stepmother to her husband Taika Waititi's children, Te Kainga o te Hinekahu, 13, and Matewa Kiritapu, 9, and she expresses joy in her role.
She mentioned, "I don't think anything truly prepares you; you just have to navigate it as it comes. I’ve cherished every moment; the girls are wonderful. I feel very fortunate. We enjoy fun activities together, like doing nails and shopping. I love spending time with them.”
Recently, Rita disclosed that her role as a stepmother has shifted her outlook on life. She told The Sun newspaper, "It’s quite straightforward. We wake up and work out together, with the kids running on the treadmills. It’s a family affair. I must say it’s been enlightening to realize that there’s often more to life than what you focus on at any given moment. I’ve learned there’s so much more, so (becoming a stepmum) did provide me with that insight.”
The talented singer and actress, who also serves as a judge on ‘The Masked Singer’, remains eager to acquire new skills and aspires to empower future generations.
