Mumbai, July 2 (NationPress) Actor Rohan Gurbaxani, who is preparing for the premiere of his forthcoming film ‘Metro… In Dino’, has recounted a fascinating experience from the film's shoot involving actor Pankaj Tripathi.
In this movie, Rohan portrays the character of Aryan, an IT professional who transitions to a painter residing in Goa, and plays a pivotal role in the narrative alongside Konkona Sensharma and Pankaj Tripathi.
The actor described the chance to collaborate with such innovative co-stars as a true honor, reflecting on a memorable moment: “During my second or third day on set, I had a scene with both Pankaj ji and Konkona. Most of the scene was with him, and I was uncertain about his arrival on set, so I was rehearsing in my vanity van.”
He continued, “Suddenly, there was a knock on my door from his assistant, indicating he wanted me in his van. I grabbed my script and headed over. He was there, exuding his calm and warm presence. He expressed a desire to rehearse the scene, which was incredible coming from an actor I have long admired.”
Rohan emphasized that discussing cinema with Pankaj is a moment he will treasure forever.
“Rehearsing one-on-one and discussing our characters and the scene's essence was truly beautiful. Receiving insights from someone who has significantly influenced Hindi cinema in recent years was invaluable to me,” he added.
Produced by Gulshan Kumar & T-Series in collaboration with Anurag Basu Productions Pvt. Ltd., ‘Metro In Dino’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu.
