Mumbai, Oct 21 (NationPress) Director Rohan Sippy, who helmed the recently launched streaming series ‘Search: The Naina Murder Case’, has revealed insights into the professional synergy between him and the renowned actress Konkona Sen Sharma in the show.
During a promotional event at a luxury hotel in the Santacruz West area of Mumbai, Rohan shared his thoughts with IANS.
Elaborating on their collaborative approach, he mentioned, “I believe great outcomes stem from our dialogues. Sometimes, Konkona introduces perspectives I hadn’t considered, enhancing our work. It’s an open forum, and I value every contribution; actors must engage beyond merely delivering lines. We aim for emotional connections.”
He further emphasized the importance of a collective understanding among the cast and crew, stating, “It’s wonderful when everyone grasps our vision and contributes to it.”
Previously, Konkona Sen Sharma expressed that she typically refrains from determining the character’s pitch and tone unless requested by the director.
She remarked, “As an actor, I generally don’t dictate the character’s tone or pitch. It’s not my role, and I prefer not to intrude on the director’s vision.”
The actress conveyed her enthusiasm for the project, citing two reasons: its foundation on the immensely popular Danish series ‘Forbrydelsen’, which features the iconic detective Sara Lund, and her comfort in working with director Rohan Sippy, with whom she shares a good rapport.
'Search: The Naina Murder Case' is available for streaming on JioHotstar.
