Mumbai, October 24 (NationPress) Actor Rohit Saraf expressed his love for his mother on her birthday, stating, "You’re my whole world". On Friday, he shared several heartwarming pictures of himself and his mother dressed in matching yellow outfits on social media. The star of "Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari" wrote a touching birthday message, emphasizing how his mother has always been a vital source of support in his life.
Rohit took to Instagram and shared, "Thank you for walking with me in silence.. two steps behind, but always there in case I stumble. For quietly switching the light off and sitting beside me as I drift into sleep after a long, weary day" (sic).
"Thank you for loving me, silently and deeply every single day. I love you Maa! Happy Birthday! You’re my whole world." (Red heart and evil eye emoji), he concluded his heartfelt message.
In a previous interview, Rohit opened up about the fitness hurdles he encounters as an actor.
When asked by IANS about the difficulties of gaining or losing weight for a role, he admitted, "It’s not just about actors—it’s hard for anyone to transform their body". He explained, "Everybody responds differently to diet and exercise. For this film, Sanya and I both underwent body transformations. Sanya trained hard for a year, and I followed a strict regimen for 14-15 months. It was exhausting but rewarding."
On the work front, Rohit gained considerable attention for his role in Shashank Khaitan's romantic comedy, "Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari", alongside Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi.
Reflecting on the filming environment, Rohit remarked, "Oh, we had an amazing time! It was so much fun because there were so many of us on set—Sanya, Varun, Jhanvi, myself, Manish, Abhinav, Mallika, and many others. The vibe was always lighthearted and full of energy."
He also shared that during rainy days, they often played badminton or football while waiting for the weather to clear so they could get back to work. "There was never a dull moment," Rohit concluded.
