Mumbai, March 13 (NationPress) TV actress Rupali Ganguly has drawn motivation from Amitabh Bachchan's insightful reflections on the distinction between ego and self-confidence.

Sharing on her Instagram stories, the 'Anupamaa' star reposted a video where the iconic actor articulates the nuances separating ego from self-confidence. Alongside the clip, Rupali expressed, “The one and only… the legend… Shri Amitabh Bachchan.”

In the video, the 'Sholay' star stated, “Ego and self-confidence are akin, yet subtly different. Self-confidence asserts, 'I am good,' while ego claims, 'Only I am good.' Self-confidence states, 'I cannot fail,' whereas ego proclaims, 'No one can defeat me.' Self-confidence declares, 'I am ready for any challenge,' but ego insists, 'I have no competition.'”

“Both convey similar messages and demonstrate their points, but the key difference lies in the fact that the resonance of self-confidence leads to success, while that of ego leads to downfall,” Big B elaborated.

On March 12, the 82-year-old actor uploaded this video on his Instagram account, captioning it, “Respect, affection, congratulations.”

In her professional journey, Ganguly is currently featured as the protagonist in the series 'Anupamaa', which has been a consistent leader in the TRP ratings. The show is produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi under the banner of Director's Kut Productions and is based on the widely acclaimed Bengali series “Sreemoyee.”

Regarding Amitabh, the 'Vettaiyan' star recently confirmed his return as the host for the upcoming season of the much-loved game show, “Kaun Banega Crorepati.”

This declaration comes on the heels of rampant speculation about his potential departure from the program. On March 12, the production team released a touching video featuring Amitabh, where he bids an emotional adieu to the audience while stating, “I will see you in the next season.”

In the video, the actor expressed, “As I take my leave, I simply want to say that if our endeavors have even slightly influenced someone’s life or if the words shared here have sparked hope in any way, then I will regard our 25-year journey as genuinely successful. So, ladies and gentlemen, I will see you in the next season. Keep believing in your hard work, maintain your dreams alive. Do not stop, do not bow down. You are invaluable just as you are, cherished by me and my own. Until we meet again, this is Amitabh Bachchan, signing off from this season with my final words—Shubh Ratri.”
