Mumbai, October 28 (NationPress) – The beloved television icon Rupali Ganguly has been visibly emotional following the passing of Bollywood stalwart Satish Shah. The actress, clearly mourning her cherished co-star, has been posting numerous video snippets showcasing Satish Shah from their classic series Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai.

Although her social media stories lack captions, it is clear that Rupali is deeply affected by the loss of Satish Shah, whom she affectionately called Kaka. During the funeral, Rupali was among the first to arrive and remained until the very end, visibly emotional as she said goodbye to the legendary actor.

In Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, Rupali and Satish portrayed the iconic roles of father-in-law and daughter-in-law, respectively, with their characters, Monisha and Indravadan Sarabhai, becoming unforgettable figures in Indian television history. For those unaware, Bollywood veteran Satish Shah passed away on October 15, leaving his fans and loved ones in disbelief.

Fellow actors Sumeet Raghavan, Rajesh Kumar, JD Majethia, Deven Bhojani, Ratna Pathak Shah, and other co-stars from Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai were present at his funeral. Reports indicate that the actor succumbed to kidney failure.

Satish Shah is survived by his wife, Madhu Shah. A prayer meeting was conducted in the city on October 27. As the pyre was lit, the cast of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai offered a heartfelt farewell to their cherished Indravadan.

The entire group was seen singing the iconic theme song of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, holding back tears as they bid their beloved colleague goodbye one last time.
