The get-together, however, carried a bittersweet note — the absence of Satish Shah, who immortalised patriarch Indravadan Sarabhai before his passing in October 2025.

Rupali Ganguly shared glimpses of the gathering on social media, posting a group photograph featuring the cast and crew with wide smiles. In the image, Ganguly appeared in a pink saree, flanked by Rajesh Kumar, Sumeet Raghavan, and the rest of the Sarabhai gang. She captioned the post in Marathi: 'Hee Dosti Tutaychi Naay' — meaning 'This friendship will never end.'

She also posted a candid video with Rajesh Kumar filmed inside a car, where the two slipped effortlessly back into the mannerisms of their iconic characters — Monesha and Rosesh — much to the delight of fans.

Remembering Satish Shah

The reunion's most emotional thread came from Sumeet Raghavan, who reshared the group photograph with a moving tribute to the late Satish Shah. His caption read: 'Missed our Indu... Sarabhais aren't complete without our Naradmuni. We are sure dad must be watching over us. Miss you Satish kaka.'

Satish Shah, who played the lovably scheming Indravadan Sarabhai, passed away on 25 October 2025 at the age of 74, reportedly after suffering a kidney-related illness in Mumbai. In an extraordinarily poignant farewell, the entire 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' cast had gathered at his funeral and sung the show's iconic title track around his pyre — a tribute that moved audiences across the country.
