Mumbai, Nov 10 (NationPress) The iconic Bollywood figure Salman Khan was seen at Breach Candy Hospital on the evening of November 10, paying a visit to the legendary actor Dharmendra. The actor arrived in his car, navigating through a throng of photographers gathered outside the hospital. Salman has often voiced his admiration for the veteran star, who has been a significant part of his family's life for over fifty years. Their professional relationship began with the film Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya, which also featured Kajol.

Dharmendra, well-known for his role in the classic film Sholay, which was co-written by Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, is currently facing health challenges and was reportedly placed on a ventilator due to breathing issues. Earlier that day, Sunny Deol, Dharmendra's son, was also spotted visiting his father, trying to evade the cameras.

According to a statement from Sunny Deol’s team, “Mr. Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further updates will be provided as they become available. We request everyone to pray for his swift recovery and respect the family's need for privacy.” At 89, Dharmendra was last seen in the film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya in 2024 and is set to appear in the upcoming movie Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan.

Over the years, Dharmendra has delivered numerous blockbuster films such as Sholay (1975), Aaye Din Bahar Ke (1966), Chupke Chupke (1975), Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973), Seeta Aur Geeta (1972), Phool Aur Patthar (1966), Dharam Veer (1977), The Burning Train (1980), among many others. His performance in the 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani received accolades from both fans and critics.
