Mumbai, April 29 (NationPress) The renowned Bollywood icon Salman Khan, who recently appeared in the movie, ‘Sikandar’, has posted captivating images of himself enjoying a swim.
On Monday, the star took to his Instagram account to share three stunning snapshots featuring him in a pool, confidently posing for the camera with his upper body exposed.
He captioned the post, “Eello ji sanam hum aa gaye…………. Ab itna bhi gussa karo nahin jaani.”
The lyrics in his caption are drawn from the song ‘Eello Ji Sanam Hum Aa Gaye’ from the classic film ‘Andaz Apna Apna’, which was recently re-released.
This social media share follows his announcement regarding the postponement of his upcoming show, ‘Bollywood Big One show’, due to the tragic attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
In a heartfelt message on social media, he stated, “In light of the recent tragic events in Kashmir, and with profound sadness, we have made the tough decision to delay The Bollywood Big One shows, originally set for May 4th and 5th in Manchester and London.”
He continued, “While we know our fans were eagerly anticipating these performances, we believe it is appropriate to pause during this time of mourning. We sincerely apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause and truly appreciate your understanding and support. New dates for the shows will be revealed soon.”
The show will also feature stars like Sara Ali Khan, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, and Sunil Grover.
Previously, Salman condemned the attack in Pahalgam that claimed 27 lives, including that of a local resident.
He expressed on his X account, formerly known as Twitter, “Kashmir, heaven on planet Earth, is turning into hell. Innocent people are being targeted. My heart goes out to their families. Ek bhi innocent ko marna puri kainaat ko marne ke barabar hai (Killing even one innocent person is equal to killing the entire universe).”
The terrorist group, The Resistance Front (TRF), has claimed responsibility for the attack. TRF is associated with the Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba and emerged following the historic abrogation of Article 370 in Kashmir, which stripped the region of its special status.
However, TRF later retracted its statement, alleging that their website had been hacked, and a message was posted on their behalf post-attack.
The incident has sparked discussions regarding the escalating presence of Pakistani-sponsored terrorism in the Kashmir valley. The National Investigation Agency has launched an inquiry into the attack, examining all possible aspects.
In related news, the attack has further strained ties between India and its contentious neighbor, Pakistan. India suspended the Indus Water Treaty and subsequently released water from the Jhelum river, leading to floods in Pakistan, which has a documented history of supporting terrorism in the valley and training the Taliban during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.
