Mumbai, July 17 (NationPress) Bollywood icon Salman Khan has an important message for all aspiring racers across the nation. At the recent Indian Supercross Racing League event on Wednesday, he emphasized the significance of safety for all riders.
He stated, "Stay safe until you arrive here for the Indian Supercross Racing League. Once you are here, we will ensure that you have all the necessary safety gear. Your safety is our priority."
Salman expressed his passion for biking, sharing, "I can't ride as often anymore, but I still enjoy it at my farm. They've helped me create a track there, so I practice. I avoid jumps now because of my filming commitments—if I get injured, it could keep me from shooting for 3-4 months. Riding on the highway where I live in Bandra can be risky. I’ve even taken several kids to the hospital after accidents. Racing on public roads endangers not just you but everyone else too."
During the event, he reminisced about a childhood experience when he rode his father’s bike to their farm, recalling that he thought his father was upset with him. Despite having a high fever at the time, he rode without a helmet, and his cap flew off. He noted, "This is not how you should ride." He slowed down to 35-40 kilometers per hour but still faced challenges, like skidding into the bushes while trying to navigate the terrain.
"I couldn’t lift the bike, but help arrived, and we managed to get it back on the road," he added.
