Chennai, Mar 19 (NationPress) Actor Saptagiri, who is set to star in director Abilash Reddy Gopidi’s forthcoming comedy ‘Pelli Kani Prasad’, asserts that the film promises to be a delightful entertainer suitable for the whole family.

The movie, anticipated to be a superb blend of humor and social commentary, is produced by Vision Group K.Y. Babu, Bhanu Prakash Goud, Sukka Venkateswar Goud, and Vaibhav Reddy Muthiyala, under the banner of Thama Media Entertainments.

The film will be released by Dil Raju’s production house, Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC), with the trailer already generating significant excitement among movie enthusiasts.

During a recent press conference held by the film's team, lead actor Saptagiri shared insights into how this project came to fruition. He mentioned, “I have previously appeared in three films: ‘Sapthagiri Express’, ‘Saptagiri LLB’, and ‘Vajra Kavachadhara Govinda’. All of these were commercial successes, and they received overwhelming support from the audience. I was eager to portray a character with substantial comedic potential, and that’s when the story of Prasad, an unmarried man, was introduced to me. After hearing the script, I was thoroughly impressed, and that’s how this project took shape.”

Saptagiri fondly recalled that director Abhilash laughed heartily while narrating the story, adding, “That moment filled me with confidence that this film would indeed succeed.”

He also expressed admiration for the director, stating, “Abhilash is a filmmaker with a clear vision of what he wants. When he shared the script, he delivered it with 70 percent dialogue. It’s no small feat to make a comedian laugh, but Abhilash succeeded in doing so, and I found the narrative highly enjoyable. That humor has been successfully translated onto the screen, and I believe the audience will find this film immensely entertaining.”
