Scarlett Johansson Responds to Husband Colin Jost's Dark Humor About Their Baby on 'SNL'

Los Angeles, Dec 23 (NationPress) Comedian Colin Jost could be facing some consequences at home after his recent performance on ‘Saturday Night Live’.
During the show's winter finale on Saturday, Colin and ‘Weekend Update’ co-host Michael Che were required to read jokes they had never encountered before, as per the show's biannual tradition, according to ‘People’ magazine.
These prompts are meant to get the comedians into tricky situations, and this year was no different, particularly with jokes aimed at Scarlett Johansson, who is 40 years old.
As noted by ‘People’, the actress, who appeared in the opening monologue, was watching the ‘Weekend Update’ segment live, with a camera focused on her expressions as Jost began to read his lines nervously.
“Hey boo, y’all know Scarlett just celebrated her 40th birthday,” Jost commented, already looking apprehensive about what was next.
He added, “Which means I’m about to get up out of there. Nah, nah. I’m just kidding. We just had a child together, and y’all ain’t seen no pictures of him yet ’cause he Black as hell.”
The camera then shifted to Johansson, who shook her head while grimacing. Later in the segment, Jost quipped that “Costco has removed their roast beef sandwich from their menu. But I ain’t tripping; I’d be eating roast beef every night since my wife had the kid,” before hiding his face in his hands in shock. Johansson looked taken aback, mouthing, “Oh my God,” from backstage.
This isn’t the first instance of Jost making light of his relationship for the show. During the season 49 finale in May, he looked into the camera during the Weekend Update segment and stated, “ChatGPT has released a new voice assistant feature inspired by Scarlett Johansson's AI character in Her. Which I’ve never bothered to watch, because without that body, what's the point of listening.”
This joke referenced a notable dispute between the actress and OpenAI, which led to Johansson considering legal action against the company.
