Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, wife Gauri Khan, and daughter Suhana Khan visited Mumbai's iconic Lalbaugcha Raja pandal on Monday night for Ganpati darshan, with the family's warm, protective moments together quickly catching attention online. The trio was accompanied by Shah Rukh's long-time manager and close associate Pooja Dadlani as they moved through the packed pandal and took part in the evening aarti.

Tender Moments That Went Viral

It was a pair of candid interactions between the family members that drew the most eyeballs. In one widely circulated video, Suhana is seen with vermilion on her nose and around her eye following the darshan. Gauri was spotted using her dupatta to gently help her daughter clean the area and ease the irritation, while Shah Rukh was seen leaning in to carefully wipe the vermilion from Suhana's nose, ensuring she was comfortable.

In a separate clip from the celebration, Shah Rukh was seen wiping vermilion from his own face and cleaning the sweat off his forehead, with Pooja Dadlani assisting him using her dupatta. Dadlani has been associated with Shah Rukh for several years and was part of the pandal visit this time as well.

The Family's Festive Look

The Khans dressed in coordinated festive attire for the outing. Shah Rukh chose a blue traditional kurta, while Gauri looked elegant in a yellow ethnic ensemble. Suhana complemented the family in a green traditional outfit. Notably, sons Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan were not present at the pandal this year.

A Recurring Tradition for Shah Rukh

This is not the first time the actor has made the Lalbaugcha Raja pilgrimage. In 2023, Shah Rukh had visited the celebrated pandal alongside younger son AbRam and Pooja Dadlani. The family has also been spotted at other prominent Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations this season, including the Ambani family's Ganesh Chaturthi festivities in Mumbai.

During a recent #AskSRK session on X (formerly Twitter), a fan had inquired about the family's Ganpati celebrations. Shah Rukh replied: 'Wife does the Aarti and then the prayers and tonight will do the Visarjan. Kids and friends gather to hang around and laugh a lot. Very simple and family time.' Shah Rukh has also spoken previously about raising his three children — Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam — in an interfaith household.

What's Next on the Work Front

Beyond the festive season, Shah Rukh is preparing for his highly anticipated next film, King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film, which sees Shah Rukh share screen space with Suhana Khan, is scheduled to release on 24 December 2026. The Lalbaugcha Raja outing, with father and daughter side by side, adds a personal note to an already closely watched on-screen pairing.
