Mumbai, Oct 4 (NationPress) Actress Khushi Kapoor humorously revealed why her dear friend Shanaya Kapoor seemed disinterested in capturing a photo together.
Shanaya took to Instagram to share three snapshots from the event. The initial two featured the “Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan” actress alongside her mother, Maheep Kapoor, and brother, Jahaan Kapoor.
In the final image, Shanaya was seen munching on a paper dosa, her gaze averted from the camera, while Khushi flashed a wide smile, striking a perfect pose right next to her.
Shanaya accompanied her post with a heart emoji in the caption.
However, it was Khushi’s remark that drew considerable attention.
“You’re more into devouring your dosa than snapping a pic with me (sic),” Khushi commented.
On the professional front, Shanaya is set to star alongside BAFTA-nominated actor Adarsh Gourav in the upcoming film “Tu Yaa Mai.”
This film, directed by Bejoy Nambiar, promises a captivating mix of romance and survival within a genre-defying storyline. It is produced by Aanand L. Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Vinod Bhanushali, and Kamlesh Bhanushali, and is scheduled for theatrical release on Valentine’s Day 2026.
Earlier in March, a teaser for the film was unveiled on social media, hinting at a compelling dynamic shaped by the lead characters' varying socio-economic backgrounds.
The thriller will spotlight Gourav and Kapoor as social media influencers caught in a harrowing battle for survival against a deadly, man-eating crocodile.
Additionally, Shanaya is involved in a new project by Shujaat Saudagar alongside actor Abhay Verma, known for ‘Munjya’.
On the other hand, Khushi was last seen in “Nadaaniyan”, directed by Shauna Gautam, featuring Ibrahim Ali Khan, Mahima Chaudhry, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj.
This film narrates the journey of a privileged South Delhi school girl who hires a boyfriend to retaliate against her family and peers.
