Mumbai, Aug 20 (NationPress) Padma Shri awardee Shankar Mahadevan, along with his sons Siddharth Mahadevan and Shivam Mahadevan, has unveiled the devotional anthem ‘Jai Shree Ganesha’ this Wednesday.

The song is celebrated as a magnificent anthem for Lord Ganesha, with its music crafted by Kedar Pandit and lyrics penned by Nachiket Jog. This track fuses vibrant rhythms with soulful vocals, encapsulating the joy, devotion, and grandeur associated with Ganesh Chaturthi. It vividly portrays the thrill of processions, the warmth of prayers, and the festive atmosphere that envelops every household during the celebrations.

Discussing the track, Shankar Mahadevan expressed, “‘Jai Shree Ganesha’ radiates the festive energy that Lord Ganesha embodies. It’s a celebration of both devotion and joy, and I am thrilled for our audience to welcome Bappa with this music.”

Previously, Shankar Mahadevan revealed plans for a series of restaurants in Mumbai, inspired by the fictional town of Malgudi created by writer R. K. Narayan. These restaurants will be situated in popular areas of Mumbai, including Chembur, Borivali, and Lower Parel.

Recently, choreographer and director Farah Khan visited Shankar Mahadevan’s home in Navi Mumbai’s Vashi locality for her YouTube channel. During her visit, she met his wife, Sangeeta Shankar Mahadevan, and sons Siddharth and Shivam. During this gathering, Shankar Mahadevan showcased his culinary skills by preparing potli prawns and thecha for his guests.
