Hyderabad, March 24 (NationPress) Actor Sharwanand has expressed that his forthcoming sports action drama 'Biker' will make every Indian proud to label it as Indian cinema, highlighting the film's challenging production journey. During a press event in Chennai to unveil the film's trailer, he stated, "Biker is my finest work to date! Why? There are numerous reasons. This marks the first Indian motocross film ever made."

He elaborated, "I assure you, every Indian will take pride in declaring this our Indian cinema. The production was incredibly demanding. We filmed sequences in Indonesia, and there were several accidents during the shoot. A behind-the-scenes video showcasing these moments will be released soon. Portraying such a sport is far from simple, both in action and in performance."

Sharwanand further revealed that 'Biker' has been a pivotal moment in his life.

He remarked, "Biker represents a turning point for me. It transformed my outlook as a person. I had to shed 22 kilos for this role. Upon hearing the script from director Abhi, I realized I needed to portray both an 18-year-old and a 30-year-old character. This experience has reshaped my views on filmmaking, my health, and my body. This film holds a special place in my heart."

Set to release globally on April 3 this year, the film was initially scheduled for December 6 of the previous year. However, in November, the producers announced a delay, stating they aimed to provide audiences not just a film, but an "unprecedented experience."

On their X timeline, UV Creations, the film's production company, noted, "#Biker has been postponed! A new release date will follow. We're crafting a bigger, enhanced experience with care and passion. #Biker will be available in 3D, 4DX, and various formats."

In their announcement, the production team referred to the film as "An experience beyond screens!" emphasizing the immense effort the cast and crew have invested, often working tirelessly through the nights.

For those unaware, Sharwanand portrays a bike racer in this much-anticipated film, which was initially known as #Sharwa36.

Malavika Nair stars as the female lead alongside notable character actors Dr. Rajasekhar, Brahmaji, and Atul Kulkarni in significant roles.

This high-octane film, produced by Vamsi and Pramod, is set against the backdrop of motocross racing. Reports suggest it narrates an exhilarating story of a family spanning three generations, framed within the thrilling motocross scene of the 90s and early 2000s.

Cinematography is handled by renowned cameraman J Yuvraj, while the racing sequences are captured by cinematographer Madhie. Music is composed by the acclaimed Tamil music director Ghibran. Anil Kumar P serves as the film's editor, with N Sandeep as the executive producer, Rajeevan as the production designer, and A Panneerselvam as the art director.
