Actor and content creator Shreya Kalra has launched a pointed attack on fellow contestant Ram Kapoor inside the Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa house, accusing him of being present on the show solely to 'mentally torture' other inmates. The remarks, made during a candid exchange with co-contestant Shilpa Shinde, have added fresh friction to the already tense atmosphere on the Netflix reality series.

What Triggered the Confrontation

The flashpoint came after contestant Pamela Serena spent over 15 minutes in the bathroom, triggering a deduction from the house's collective 'Kharcha Paani' budget. Shreya and Shilpa were quick to call out what they saw as a double standard — noting that when either of them committed a similar infraction, the entire house, and Ram in particular, would immediately turn against them.

Speaking directly to Shilpa, Shreya did not mince words. 'Ram sir should go home. He's here to give mental torture to other people. He wants bed; he doesn't want to adjust and we hear his snoring,' she said. The complaints ranged from Ram's insistence on claiming a bed to his loud snoring disrupting other contestants' sleep — painting a picture of accumulated daily grievances boiling over.

Shilpa Shinde Backs the Sentiment

Shilpa Shinde echoed the frustration, framing the situation in terms of the show's own mechanics. 'What you are saying will not happen. The way we are chained in this show. The same way Ram Kapoor has been thrown at us,' she said. The remark drew a sharp contrast between contestants who chose to enter the game and one who, in her view, was imposed upon them.

The current season of Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa features a roster of prominent names including Akanksha Chaudhary, Sunita Ahuja, Ram Kapoor, Shreya Kalra, Shivangi Joshi, Harshad Chopra, Sufi Motiwala, Dheeraj Dhoopar, and Varun Yadav (also known as Laila). The second installment runs for 6 weeks, housing 14 inmates, 2 jailers, and a single lock-up.
