Mumbai, Nov 16 (NationPress) Acclaimed actress Shruti Haasan, celebrated for her vocal talent, recently gifted her followers a nostalgic video of her enchanting performance of the song "Edge". In the clip shared on her official Instagram account, Shruti captivates with her melodious voice while skillfully playing the piano.

In her heartfelt post, she expressed, "I would have never shared this song if it wasn’t for the lovely evening I had performing sanchari. We have the great fortune of performing for thousands, but the silence before that applause is where the art meets the artist."

Shruti revealed that while recording her track for SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu's "Varanasi", composer Kaala Bhairava praised her song "Edge", which meant a lot to her as an independent musician.

She elaborated that this video was shot during the lockdown before she shared the track with music enthusiasts. "When I went to record this epic track for Varanasi, globetrotter @kaalabhairava7 said he loved my song 'Edge' and it meant the world to me as an independent musician. This is the video I sent to @karanparikh27 during lockdown saying let’s make this - this was my first independent single. I’m thankful for the music and even more for the musicians," she shared.
