On her Instagram, Shruti Haasan posted a clip showcasing her festive preparations, writing, "It’s my favourite time of the year!!! I enjoy setting up my black Christmas tree in the first week of December, so I’m a bit behind this year! Thanks to Surekha and Vaishnavi, we completed the setup in under forty minutes. This year, we incorporated more white decorations into the tree, and I’m absolutely loving it. Wishing you and your family a joyous Christmas and a fantastic year ahead. Recently, the multi-talented artist gained attention for her captivating performance at the title announcement event for director S S Rajamouli's upcoming film 'Varanasi'. She also shared how the Oscar-winning music director M M Keeravani pleasantly surprised her during a recording session.

Shruti Haasan expressed on Instagram, "I was thrilled to sing for MM Keeravaani sir’s project. What a phenomenal track… LET IT BANG, GLOBETROTTER." She recounted, "I was quietly listening to him play when he mentioned he usually starts his sessions with the Vigneswara mantram. I thought that was what he was beginning to play, but then I realized it was my father’s song! That moment was incredibly special. Thank you, sir, for your kindness and the warmth from the entire team that day. I can't wait for everyone to hear the track!"

A few days later, the actress shared a video of her performing her first independent single on Instagram, stating, "I would have never shared this song if it wasn’t for the wonderful evening I had performing Sanchari. We are fortunate to perform for countless audiences, but the silence before the applause is where the art truly connects with the artist. When I recorded this epic track for 'Varanasi' / Globetrotter, @kaalabhairava7 remarked that he loved my song 'edge', which meant everything to me as an independent musician. This is the genuine deal. Every time I experience significant success, I will always remember my beginnings. This video was what I sent to @karanparikh27 during the lockdown, saying let’s create this - it was my first independent single. Grateful for the music and even more for the musicians!"
