In an exclusive chat with IANS, Atre reflected on how music has always been woven into the fabric of her life. She stated, “From a young age, music has surrounded me. I fondly remember my mother singing while she cooked, and my father’s fondness for ghazals filled our home with melodies. Today, I begin my days with mantras and unwind with jazz or fusion tunes at night. Music resonates within me. Contributing to it has been my aspiration, and this song marks a step toward that.”

The talented actress recently appeared in the music video “Kaahe Saiyaan,” sharing that her latest song is not solely a creative endeavor but also a personal expression. “Upon hearing the piece, based on Raag Jog with an essence of Karun Ras, I was profoundly touched. It embodies a certain melancholy and emotional richness, compelling me to portray it as a visual narrative. The moment the music played, visuals flooded my mind. I aimed to offer viewers not just a song, but a visual experience with a story,” she elaborated.

Shubhangi has ventured into production with this music release. Discussing her motivation for this transition, she expressed a sincere desire to give back to the industry that has significantly influenced her path. The ‘Kasturi’ actress remarked, “I’ve always sought to contribute something meaningful to the industry that has shaped my career. Acting roles may come and go, but I often pondered—what am I truly giving back? This project is my humble attempt.”
