Mumbai, Oct 8 (NationPress) Television star Shubhangi Atre embarked on a nostalgic journey as she returned to her village after a span of 25 years.

The actress, renowned for her role in ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai’, shared a heartfelt video on her Instagram that captured the essence of her emotional homecoming, bringing back cherished memories of her early years. In the clip, Shubhangi is seen posing on a bridge and showcasing her scenic road trip, which includes views of farms and a temple in her home village. The video also features joyful moments with her family.

To accompany her video, she chose the soothing melody of Anupam Roy’s song ‘Lamhe Guzar Gaye’. In her post, Shubhangi expressed, “Time stood still here — a nostalgic return to my village after 25 years. #nostalgia #home.”

Originating from Indore, Shubhangi Atre is celebrated for her portrayal of Angoori Bhabi in the series “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai”.

Earlier this year in January, she made a trip back to Indore, where she rekindled her bond with her Kathak roots and met her guru after an absence of 18 years. Reflecting on this experience, she said, “Revisiting the same practice hall where I trained, performing a few moves, and hearing her encouraging words flooded me with memories. The walls still showcase a picture of us performing together. Meeting her reminded me of the significance of dance in my life. It has instilled resilience and adaptability in me. Each movement tells a story, and every story imparts a lesson. Re-experiencing those lessons reignited a flame within me.”

Professionally, Shubhangi has graced several popular shows such as “Kasautii Zindagii Kay,” “Kasturi,” “Do Hanson Ka Jodaa,” “Chidiya Ghar,” and “Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!” Additionally, she has ventured into production with her music release, “Kaahe Saiyaan.”
