Mumbai, Nov 18 (NationPress) Renowned television star Shubhangi Atre, famously recognized as Angoori Bhabi from &TV’s series "Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain", recently journeyed to the revered town of Devprayag in Uttarakhand.
Throughout her stay, Shubhangi experienced a delightful blend of tranquility, nature, and delicious cuisine.
Reflecting on her transformative experience in Devprayag, she described it as a 'soul-nourishing experience'.
She expressed, “My time in Devprayag was one of the most soul-nourishing experiences I’ve encountered in a long time. Standing at the sangam where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers converge to form the Ganga was truly divine. The sound of the flowing water, the stillness of the mountains, and the freshness of the air created a transformative atmosphere.”
During her visit, Shubhangi also offered prayers at the Raghunathji Temple.
Discussing her spiritual journey, she noted, “I also visited the Raghunathji Temple, and despite having traveled to numerous spiritual sites, the tranquility of Devprayag was exceptional. The narrow pathways, hillside caves, ancient stairs, and rustic surroundings made me feel profoundly connected to nature.”
The actress also sampled local Garhwali cuisine during her vacation.
“The flavors of bhatt ki churdkani, simple dal and rice, and the fresh dishes from small eateries near Teen Dhara were incredibly comforting. I also tried the renowned prasad from Raghunathji Temple, which had a lovely simplicity. While I was there, I prayed for blessings for our show — its ongoing success, strength for myself and my co-stars to continue delivering excellent performances, and the wisdom to do justice to my role as Bhabiji,” Shubhangi remarked.
She conveyed a feeling of peace and gratitude following her time in Devprayag.
“Even the herbal tea served at the quaint cafés by the riverside felt special. Devprayag reminded me that sometimes we just need the warmth of good food, untouched nature, and a moment of silence to reconnect with ourselves. This journey brought me immense peace, reflection, and gratitude,” Shubhangi concluded.
