Mumbai, Nov 18 (NationPress) Actress Shweta Tripathi is currently engaged in the film adaptation of the “Mirzapur” series, and she recently shared how the determination of her co-star Ali Fazal regarding fitness has been a source of motivation for her throughout the filming process.
In preparation to reprise her role as Golu Gupta, Shweta underwent training with Rohit Tyson, who is Ali Fazal’s personal trainer, during their time shooting in Varanasi.
Reflecting on her fitness journey while on set, Shweta explained to IANS: “During the shooting of Mirzapur, I frequently observed Ali working out with Rohit Tyson, which made a significant impact on me. I ultimately decided to participate during our filming in Benaras, and it transformed my outlook on fitness during work.”
The actress noted that she witnessed Ali “manage to fit in a workout even after the longest, most exhausting days, something he has consistently done since Season 2, and that level of commitment is hard to overlook.”
Shweta elaborated: “His dedication made me understand that maintaining discipline on set is achievable; it simply requires intent. Watching him show up day after day motivated me to take my own training seriously and develop a routine I had struggled to uphold in the past.”
