Mumbai, July 22 (NationPress) IITian turned actor, Siddharth Sibal, has made an impressive debut alongside Salman Khan in the film Sikandar. His compelling performance as a strong ACP signifies his arrival as a promising new talent in the Bollywood industry.
Reflecting on his collaboration with Salman, Sibal shared, “Being on screen with Salman sir in my inaugural major commercial film was not merely a dream; it was the dream.”
He disclosed that he grew up admiring Salman. Sibal reminisced about the first time he watched the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' star on the big screen, describing the experience as surreal and expressing his admiration for Salman’s charismatic personality and humble demeanor.
Sibal vividly recalled the moment he was chosen for Sikandar. “When I received the call for Sikandar, and after successfully completing several audition rounds at Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, it felt like a miracle. Working under the direction of A.R. Murugadoss sir was akin to being guided by a cinematic maestro, where every frame, every pause, and every glance was intentional,” he recounted.
Discussing Salman’s presence on set, Sibal remarked, “From the very first day, Salman sir radiated generosity with his energy and presence. He observes everything keenly. He may not speak much, but when he does, it resonates. He taught me that being a star encompasses more than just the spotlight; it’s about discipline and patience.”
The film, directed by A.R. Murugadoss, also features Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Sathyaraj, Jatin Sarna, Sanjay Kapoor, Prateik Babbar, and Kishore in significant roles, among others.
The storyline follows Sanjay “Sikandar” Rajkot (played by Salman), who embarks on a quest to redeem his past following a tragic incident. He seeks to transform the lives of three individuals, ultimately becoming the target of a vengeful politician.
Despite its release in theaters on March 30, Sikandar struggled to perform at the box office.
