This proactive measure will facilitate the timely suspension of internet services in sensitive locations if necessary, ensuring that the examination is conducted in a fully peaceful and fair manner.
Approximately 13.48 lakh candidates are expected to participate in the CET examination across 834 centres.
The Chief Minister chaired a meeting to assess the arrangements for the CET examination.
According to an official statement from the Chief Minister, this marks the first instance of the CET examination being carried out on such a large scale by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC).
He emphasized the importance of maintaining transparency by ensuring videography of the entire process, from the storage of question papers to their transportation to the examination centres.
CM Saini insisted on implementing strict measures to deter any anti-social elements from being present near examination centres.
Moreover, social media platforms should be closely monitored to swiftly address any attempts to disseminate rumours or misinformation regarding the examination.
The Chief Minister also directed the Transport Department to guarantee sufficient bus availability during the CET examination while making necessary arrangements for public transport due to the approaching Teej festival. This will help ensure that citizens throughout the state do not encounter any inconveniences.
He urged the public to refrain from unnecessary travel on July 26 and 27, the days of the CET examination, to promote a smooth and uninterrupted traffic flow.
The Chief Minister instructed the district administration to implement special arrangements in districts where buses must travel over 100 km to reach examination centres.
He also ordered that reserve buses be kept ready for any emergencies. Additionally, the Chief Minister stated that the 112 emergency response services should be integrated into the transport arrangements for both examination days to ensure timely assistance, if necessary.
All candidates should be encouraged to arrive at their examination centres at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time, according to CM Saini.
