Sidhant Shares Wisdom from Mother and Grandmother That Keeps Him Grounded
Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, March 12 (NationPress) Actor Sidhant reflected on the profound yet simple teachings from his mother and grandmother that have consistently kept him grounded over the years.
Recalling his childhood in Jammu, the 'Black Warrant' star revealed that every time he stepped outside, his mother and grandmother would remind him, "Whatever you do, ensure you watch and listen attentively."
"This voice echoes in my mind, that of my mother and grandmother. Whenever I would leave home during my childhood, they would say, 'Jo bhi karna, dekh sunke karna,'" Sidhant expressed.
He acknowledged that he took these straightforward words for granted as a child. However, as he matured, he adopted them as a guiding principle, coming to the realization that life is fleeting and his aspirations are vast.
Sidhant continued, "In those days, I overlooked these simple life lessons. Now, with the understanding that life is brief and dreams are extensive, every time I open the door, that voice resonates in my mind... 'Dekh sunke...' This ensures I never lose my path."
In an industry where distractions abound, Sidhant attributes this single inherited phrase as a key factor in keeping him grounded throughout his career journey.
Recently, Sidhant also shared insights about his roots from Jammu, pondering whether the realm of fiction could ever compare to the real-life experiences of the people in Kashmir.
"It's intriguing how two of my most significant roles originated not far from Jammu. This consideration must have played a role in my casting. My breakout performance as Jay Khanna in ‘Jubilee’ was set in Karachi, which was part of India at the time. Additionally, my recent portrayal of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru, was rooted in Kashmir. We are undeniably one state," the ‘Jubilee' actor remarked.
