Mumbai, May 5 (NationPress) Actress Sonakshi Sinha has publicly shown her support for content creator and actress Kusha Kapila following Kusha's courageous response to a troll who made an offensive remark about her recent vacation pictures.
On Monday, Sonakshi utilized her Instagram stories to commend Kusha for addressing the inappropriate behavior openly. Sharing Kusha’s post, the 'Akira' actress stated, “Well done on confronting these low lives @kusha kapila!! We all need to name and shame them…hazaar gaali padegi, Instagram spam ho jayega aur nani yaaad aa jayegi.”(sic)
Kusha Kapila fiercely reacted to a social media user who left a vulgar comment on her vacation images. She directly called out the troll, denouncing his actions as “disgusting” and intolerable. Without concealing the identity of the troll, who identified as Satyan Singh, Kusha criticized his behavior, labeling it as “disgusting, unhealed, auraless behaviour.”
Kapila stated, “Satyam ki wajah se kitney logon ki mental health kharab rehti hogi. I offer to pay for two years worth of therapy and inner work for you so you don't feel compelled to show your darindigi at the sight of a happy woman. Write to me on thaapadmarungi@sudharjasaale.com (sic).” The user later issued an apology to Kusha in her DMs.
This is not the first instance where Kusha Kapila has addressed online hostility and abuse. After her divorce from Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia in June 2023, she encountered considerable trolling and backlash on social media.
On the career front, Kusha made her acting debut in 2020 with Karan Johar’s “Ghost Stories.” Since then, she has featured in various projects, including the shows “Masaba Masaba”, “Life Hill Gayi” and the film “Sukhee,” among others.
Conversely, Sonakshi Sinha is gearing up for the release of her forthcoming film, "Nikita Roy."
Directed by her brother, Kussh S. Sinha, the film is scheduled to be released in theatres on May 30, 2025.
