Mumbai, June 19 (NationPress) Actress Sonali Bendre expressed that her decision to join the reality show “Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check” stemmed from its resemblance to her own marital experiences.
Returning not only as a host but also as a supportive friend and occasional accomplice to the couples, she shared, “I agreed to participate in Pati Patni Aur Panga because it mirrored my own marriage—just with more cameras! I've always maintained that the most remarkable tales are often found within the mundane.”
She emphasized that the show honors the little quirks that bring authenticity to relationships.
“The shared looks, the disputes over the remote, the minor victories that hold immense significance. I’m truly enthusiastic about accompanying these couples, sharing laughs, reflecting together, and perhaps even rediscovering aspects of love along the way,” she remarked.
Regarding her personal journey, Sonali first encountered filmmaker Goldie Behl, son of director Ramesh Behl, on the set of her film Naaraaz. The couple tied the knot in 2002 and welcomed their son in 2005.
As for the Colors show, actress Hina Khan and her husband Rocky Jaiswal are set to appear, alongside other notable couples such as Rubina Dilaik with Abhinav Shukla, Avika Gor with Milind Chandwani, and Gurmeet Chaudhary with Debina Bonnerjee.
Hina recently married her long-time partner Rocky in June. The pair first met on the set of the hit series ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, where Hina portrayed Akshara and Rocky served as the supervising producer.
Later, Rocky featured in an episode of ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi’, where Hina was a contestant, and he also supported her during her time on ‘Bigg Boss 11’.
