In her final throwback post of 2025, Sonam expressed on her Instagram, "Years come and go. Motherhood remains eternal."

She shared images of herself as a young mother at 21 with her son Rolly on his special day, accompanied by her parents and cousin. This marks her last nostalgic post for the year.

Sonam frequently shares such heartfelt memories with her followers online.

In a recent post, she recounted a touching behind-the-scenes experience from the filming of her 1990 movie “Ajooba.”

She revealed how Shashi Kapoor came to her aid during a hectic dance sequence. He instructed the choreographer to simplify her dance steps for the song “Main Matti Ka Gudda.”

Sonam also described the overwhelming sensation of filming the song in Jaipur, where over 400 spectators gathered to watch the shoot.

“This song #meinmattikagudda from #ajoobamovie was filmed in Jaipur. Before we could say 'Jack Robinson', a crowd of over 400 people had gathered! Back then, there was no internet or social media, making sightings of actors a rare treat. Consequently, I had to be escorted by police back to my hotel each day after wrap-up. It was quite overwhelming, surrounded by so many people and police. I found myself forgetting my dance steps due to non-stop distractions, including catcalls,” Sonam recalled.

She continued, “#shashikapoor sir intervened, asking the choreographer for easier steps. When the choreographer questioned, 'Why is she an actress if she can’t dance?' Shashi sir replied, 'Take it easy; she is just a kid.' That comment silenced everyone, and I immediately ran to hug him.”
